Case Study Cafe 2: Knowledge Audits

Knowledge audits can be used to develop an understanding of KM needs and opportunities, and they can also be used to check the health and overall progress of KM initiatives. In this case study cafe, which will be discussion-intensive, we will examine these two kinds of knowledge audit. In Case 3, Mary Jane Carangal-San Jose and Josephine Aquino of the Asian Development Bank, will describe what was involved in preparing for an ISO 30401 KM systems audit, and how it helped them consolidate their understanding of their KM programmes. In Case 4, Janine Weightman of Knovolution UK will describe how she conducted two knowledge audits for two UK organisations to help them develop KM strategies and implementation plans, and she will show how she managed to use virtual facilitation techniques to do this during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
